Our wear test model is a US women’s size 16-18 depending on the brand. She first tried on the size extra large in the Slim Cognito Shaping Mid-Thigh Bodysuit style 067. Sizes range from sizes XS (US women’s size 0-2) to XL (US women’s size 16-18). We found the size XL was a little too snug for her, so we went up a size. So we put her in the Plus Size Slim Cognito (style 072) in 1X. Plus-size ranges from 1X (US women’s size 18-20W) to 3X (US women’s size 26-28W). The size 1X was a perfect fit! Our conclusion: Go up a size in the Spanx: Slim Cognito Shaping MId-Thigh Bodysuit .

Next we wanted to test the best method of putting this bodysuit on. Our model found it was best to connect the attachments to your bra first before lifting the garment all the way up. It prevents struggle and promotes an easy applying process. We also noticed when you attach it to your bra, this bodysuit will never fall down.  Three cheers for no more slippage!

Finally, the price point.  Although  $76 dollars might seem a tad expensive for some, we found it's well worth the price! It is so hard to find a well-fitted bodysuit. Slim Cognito is the easiest to fit because you pair it with your own bra. And it attaches in four different places. This bodysuit provides firm control while it shapes your midriff, tummy, thighs, and rear. Not only do you have the comfort of wearing your own bra and the desired control, it also shapes you all over!  We believe this will be your BEST FALL SHAPEWEAR PURCHASE!
